Norma and Breen love Halloween, so when they suggested wearing their Stranger Things costumes to their Schoolhouse Ridge South engagement photos in Harpers Ferry I was completely on board.
Norma said she wanted to recreate the scene in season three when the car dies in the woods while Hopper and Joyce have Alexi. Ok here’s one picture and then Can we just talk about Alexi for a second?
My husband always says I get overly attached to secondary characters, and Alexi definitely stole my heart. I LOVED HIM! So not fair, you all know what I’m talking about. *no spoilers*
ANYWAYS, back to the shoot. So, Norma and Breen donned their Hopper and Joyce costumes and channeled some strong Stranger Things energy.
After a quick 15 minutes photographing costumes, they changed into their photo session outfits. Norma rocked a very pretty black lace dress and Breen looked very dapper in a matching black shirt and gray pants.
The fall colors and light were beautiful the day we took these photos in Harpers Ferry.
I knew Norma also wanted a touch of spooky and moodiness. So, I borrowed my mom’s candlestick holders and bought some yards of black lace that matched her dress. The area we were at had beautiful ruins that were a perfect spooky castle backdrop.
