This weekend is Katsucon! I am pretty excited to be going again this year. Seeing all the incredible cosplays is by far the best part of going to any convention. The work and artistry that is involved in the making of props, clothing, and accessories is always inspiring for me.

Every month there is a gathering of photographers and cosplayers. Sometimes there is a specific theme like fantasy and others its “general” meaning come with whatever you got! The venues they got to our also gorgeous. The Christmas meet-up was at Mustang Sally’s Brewery
As a photographer, its a really great way to get in portrait practice. You have to get a great photo in a very short amount of time. If you’re a photographer or cosplay in the DMV area, I hope to see you at the next meeting!
